Hadith 260

“Whenever a child was born among her family, Aisha (رضي الله عنه) would not ask: “Is it a boy or a girl?” She would ask: “Was he/she created well?” And if it was said: “Yes,” she would say: “Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Universe.”
